I promise that I will do my best,
To do my duty to God and the Queen,
To help other people and to keep the Cub Scout Law

Who are Cubs?
Cub Scouts are boys and girls aged between 8 and 10 1/2 years, who like challenge and adventure. The Cub Scouts usually meet once a week as a Pack, under the supervision of Leaders led by the Cub Scout Leader, usually known to the Cub Scouts as Akela. The Pack is divided into Sixes, each named after a colour and led by a Cub Scout called a Sixer, and their Second.

What Cubs Do
Cubs do a lot of exciting activities. From Acting to visiting the Zoo
Here is a list of the main things cubs do :-
  • Play games
  • Gain badges
  • Look after themselves
  • Go on outings and visits
  • Go camping
  • Learn about outdoors
  • Look after their surroundings
  • Help others
  • Go hiking
  • Create things
  • And most of all have fun

Uniform
The Cub Scout uniform consists of a dark green, long-sleeved sweatshirt the group neckie and black trousers or skirt.

Pocket Inspection
Our cubs must bring a pocket inspection every week that is checked as part of inspection at the start of the night.
    Each cub must have -
  • A Pencil
  • Paper
  • Hankie
  • A piece of string
